Seven Loaves and a Few Fish

Since our commissioning last June, the most challenging thing we have faced is fund raising. In the best of times, most missionaries experience some level of conflict with asking people for money. In the current climate, with the depressed economic situation, it becomes even more difficult. All of us, including our family, have experienced losses due the economic down turn. Some have lost homes. Some have lost jobs and almost everyone has lost money in the stock market. At times it can be discouraging. Yet as I read the Scriptures the morning, the Holy Spirit encouraged my heart with story from the Gospel of Matthew.
